Dinner at the Saxon
Starters
Scottish Salmon Gravlax
Cured Scottish salmon, silky crème fraîche, pickled cucumber, fresh dill and a bright citrus dressing.
Main courses
Beef
250g beef fillet, potato pavé, charred tenderstem broccoli and green peppercorn velouté.
Chicken
Chicken supreme, parsley stuffing, mashed potato, onion purée, charred leeks, fine beans and chicken jus.
Kingklip
Chermoula-baked kingklip, roasted pepper and tomato sauce, sweet potato and butternut hash.

Formal or traditional attire — evening dresses, elegant cocktail dresses, formal jumpsuits or suits. Kindly avoid jeans, shorts, sneakers and casual daywear.
Doors open at 4.30 PM for arrival and bubbles, canapés follow from 5 PM, and dinner is served from 6 PM. Give yourself a few extra minutes for parking.
No dish-picking needed — when you RSVP, each guest simply chooses Normal, Vegan or Halaal. Note any allergies in the dietary field and the kitchen will take care of you.
Both work: the Saxon has secure on-site parking, and Ubers drop off right at the entrance — the easy option if you’ll be enjoying the champagne.
Invitations are addressed to named guests, so please RSVP only for those included on yours. Unsure? Check with Desh before submitting.
We recommend three hotels above — the Saxon itself, plus two nearby in Sandton. Book directly with the hotel, and mention the wedding if you stay at the Saxon.
